No-Drill Lagun Mount (Sprinter B-Pillar) Installation Guide

    • T45 Torx Bit: For the factory D-Ring bolt ( 2019+ VS30 models).

    • 10mm Wrenches or Sockets: (2) required for the M6 seat base hardware.

    • 13mm Wrench or Socket: For the M8 Lagun bracket hardware.

    • Phillips Screwdriver: For the Lagun bracket bolts.

    • For NCV3 Models (Pre-2019): Power drill and 1/4" (or 6mm) metal drill bit.

  • Remove the D-Ring: Locate the factory D-Ring at the bottom of your B-Pillar. Use the T45 Torx to remove the bolt.

    • CRITICAL: While you will reuse the factory M8 bolt, do not reuse the factory spacer (the thick metal shim behind the D-ring) when installing the new mount. Reinstalling this spacer will cause improper alignment. The D-ring itself may be reused between the bolt head and the mount if desired, but it is not mandatory.

    • NCV3 Models: Some older vans may not come equipped with a D-ring or bolt. If your van is missing this, you will need to source an M8 bolt for this mounting point.

    Identify Seat Base Holes:

    • VS30 Models (2019+): Locate the two factory holes on the rear, outboard side of your seat base.

    • NCV3 Models (2007–2018): These vans typically do not have factory holes. You will use the mount as a template in Step 3 to mark and drill your own holes.

  • Tip: Assemble the entire "stack" loosely on a workbench before attempting to bolt it to the van. This makes it much easier to align the plates.

    Identify Orientation

Before combining the plates, identify which side is which:

    • Lagun Side: The face with the larger (M8) holes is where your Lagun bracket will eventually attach.

    • Seat Base Side: The side with the smaller (M6) slots is for mounting to the van's seat base.

    Determine Side (Driver vs. Passenger)

The orientation of the plates depends on which side of the van you are installing on:

    • If Installing on Passenger Side: The foot of the flat L-shaped part and the open "mouth" of the U-shaped part should point RIGHT.

    • If Installing on Passenger Side: The foot of the flat L-shaped part and the open "mouth" of the U-shaped part should point LEFT.

    Combine the Plates

Place the flat L-shaped part BEHIND the front face (inside) of the U-shaped part.

Visual Check: The L-bracket should be "tucked" inside the U-shape. The front face of the U-part should be the outermost surface facing you.

    • Align the holes on the U-shape with the long slot on the L-shape.

    • The "open" side of the U-shape should face the B-Pillar.

    • The L-shaped part should sit inside the U-shape, with its "foot" pointing toward the B-Pillar.

Choose Your Height (Narrow Mount on High Base Only)

    • Standard (Lower) Height: Align all three round holes of the U-shape with the slot on the L-shape. You will run three bolts through the entire assembly.

    • Extended (Maximum) Height: Slide the U-shape upward so only two holes align with the L-shape slot. You will run the lower two bolts through the entire sandwich. The top bolt will only run through the Narrow Lagun bracket and the U-shaped part. This is ideal for vans with aftermarket swivels/high bases.

Attach Lagun Bracket: Place your Lagun Mounting Bracket against the assembly and align the holes.

    • Bolt Together: Insert M8 bolts through the bracket and aluminum plates. Use washers on the back side before the nylock nuts. Snug them, but do not fully torque yet.

    • If you have the Wide/Standard Bracket: Use the included adapter plate in front of the U-shaped part. Secure the two bolts closest to the B-pillar through all three pieces; the other two bolts go through the bracket and adapter only.

  • D-Ring Bolt: Place the assembly against the B-Pillar. Thread the M8/Torx bolt back into the D-Ring hole. Leave it loose.

Narrow Mount Height Choice: If you are installing the narrow mount (especially on high-base/swivel vans), you have two configuration options:

    • Standard (Lower) Height: Line up the middle and bottom slots of the mount with the seat base holes. Use all three bolts through the entire assembly for a compact look.

    • Extended (Maximum) Height: Slide the assembly up and use the top and middle slots. Secure using two bolts through the assembly. This provides maximum table height while remaining fully rigid.

    Positioning & Drilling:

    • VS30 (2019+): Align the mount slots with the factory seat base holes.

    • NCV3 (Pre-2019): Level the mount and use the slots as a guide to mark your hole locations. Move the mount aside and drill two 1/4" holes through the sheet metal of the seat base.

Insert Hardware: Insert the included M6 bolts through the mount and into the seat base.

Secure: From inside the seat base (via the plastic access door), place a washer onto the M6 threads and then the nylock nut.

  • Seat Base First: Tighten the M6 hardware using your 10mm tools.

B-Pillar Second: Torque the D-Ring bolt down firmly.

Lagun Bracket Last: Ensure the Lagun bracket is aligned, then torque the M8 nylock nuts using your 13mm socket and Phillips screwdriver.

  • Slide your Lagun arm onto the bracket, adjust to your desired height, and you are ready to go!
