Terms of Service & Liability
Installation & Safety (Read This) Stoutlander provides parts and components designed for DIY installation. By purchasing and installing these products, you agree that:
You are the Installer: You are solely responsible for the correct installation, securing, and maintenance of these parts.
No Liability: Stoutlander (and its owners) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages resulting from the use, misuse, or improper installation of our products.
Vehicle Safety: It is your responsibility to ensure that any accessories installed in your vehicle do not interfere with airbags, safety systems, or the safe operation of the vehicle.
Product Use
Intended Models: Our products are designed specifically for the intended vehicle models listed on the product page.
Modifications: Modifying the part or using it on unlisted vehicles is done at your own risk and voids any warranty.
Intellectual Property & Anti-Diversion End-User Policy
By purchasing from Stoutlander, you agree that products are for personal, private use only. We strictly prohibit the purchase of our items for the purpose of resale, reverse engineering, commercial analysis, or manufacturing duplication.
Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, and blacklist customers if we identify an affiliation with product sourcing agents, manufacturing competitors, or entities involved in the unauthorized reproduction of proprietary designs. All designs are currently subject to intellectual property protection processes.
Stoutlander Vehicle Warranty
The "Master Document" Rule Because every build is unique and inventory varies (New vs. Demo vs. Pre-Owned), please refer to your specific Vehicle Purchase Agreement for the final, binding warranty terms. If there is a discrepancy between this website and your signed contract, the signed contract prevails.
1-Year Conversion Craftsmanship Warranty For new and custom builds, Stoutlander offers a 1-Year Limited Warranty on our craftsmanship and installation.
What this covers: The "House" build—including aluminum framing, cabinetry installation, wiring connections, plumbing lines, and mounting points. If something rattles loose or a connection fails due to our workmanship within the first year, we will fix it.
What this excludes: Normal wear and tear (scratches, dents), abuse, neglect, or issues caused by lack of maintenance.
Component Warranties (Pass-Through) We select premium components for our builds, but we do not manufacture them.
Third-Party Equipment: Systems and components such as power kits, heaters, refrigerators, vent fans, actuators, chargers, awnings, etc. are covered solely by their respective manufacturers’ warranties.
Our Role: We warrant that we have installed them correctly. If the device itself fails internally, we will assist you in contacting the manufacturer for a warranty claim, but the replacement/repair is subject to their specific policies and timelines.
Chassis Warranty The base vehicle (Mercedes-Benz Sprinter) is covered by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) warranty.
Service: Any mechanical issues regarding the engine, transmission, drivetrain, or factory electronics must be taken to an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership. Stoutlander is not authorized to perform chassis warranty work.
